THOMAS KOPEC

CO-FOUNDER, PARTNER

Thomas Kopec is the Co-Founder of both MySafetyNet and its adult equivalent,
AdultSafetyNet. He was born in Germany on a US Air Force Base. At the age of two
he was brought back to the states and grew up as one of three boys in Chicago.
Most of his career was spent in the construction industry where he started as a
carpenter and worked his way up to superintendent. The idea for these two
websites came as a result of a tragedy that affected his family in 2005. A very
close friend, so close that she was thought of as a member of his own family,
was violently murdered by an online predator who she had met online, and then
eventually agreed to meet in person.

JAY KANETKER

CO-FOUNDER, PARTNER

Jay Kanetkar has 10 years experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as
a Case Agent /Investigator for several high profile International Terrorism
investigations, for which he has received numerous awards. He has transitioned
this experience into the private sector, where he serves as an attorney
concentrating on projects, commercial transactions, real estate transactions,
mergers & acquisitions, litigation, immigration filings/proceedings, municipal
matters, criminal matters. He has successfully negotiated many high value deals.
Mr. Kanetkar has a J.D. from Seton Hall Law School, and a Bachelor of Science in
Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
