COMMON TOPICS AND QUESTIONS

How do I enable LTE?

By default, your phone is set to automatically choose the best available
network. If your phone is not connected to a network, you may be in an area
where service is not yet available or you may also be in an area with poor
wireless coverage.

If you are indoors, try moving closer to a window or the perimeter of the
building, or try going outside.

If changing your location does not solve your problem, try restarting your phone
by turning it off and then on again.

NOTE: Not all Networks or Network Services are available on all devices or in
all areas.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To verify your network, follow these steps:

NOTE: You must temporarily turn your Wi-Fi Connection to "Off."

 1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
 2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
 3. Locate and tap "About phone."
 4. Tap "SIM status" or "Status information."
 5. Then, tap "SIM card status."
 6. Look under
    * "Mobile network state" for your current network state.
    * "Mobile voice network type" for your current network type.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SAMSUNG DEVICES

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OTHER ANDROID DEVICES

 1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
 2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
 3. Tap "Network" or "Network & internet."

option should be switched to "On."

How do I perform a Factory Data Reset on my device?

You may find the need to perform a Factory Data Reset in the event that your
device is malfunctioning in ways that can't be fixed by more basic
troubleshooting steps, such as rebooting the device, uninstalling apps that
aren't working properly, or wiping the cache partition. A Factory Data Reset can
also be performed if you want to restore your device to its default settings.

Performing a Factory Reset will permanently delete all user data on the
smartphone or tablet. Be sure to back up your data before performing a Factory
Reset.

Before performing a reset, if your device is operating on Android 5.0 (Lollipop)
or higher, please remove your Google Account (Gmail) and your screen lock. If
the Google Account is not removed, the device will enter the Google Reactivation
Lock.

 1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
 2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
 3. Locate and tap "System."
 4. Tap "Reset options."
 5. Tap "Erase all data (factory reset)."
 6. A message will appear with a description of the data that will be erased. If
you would like to proceed, tap "Erase all data."
 7. A warning message will appear. After you read it, tap "Erase all data" to
continue. Your phone will begin the reset process. It will shut off and
    power back on automatically.
