We have 3 options of Bible Study every Sunday morning at 9:30. Adults, Youth and Children. see more WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM as we study all about prayer. Why do we pray? How do we pray? Does God hear our prayer? How do we know when God answers our prayers? Bring your questions and we’ll find the answers together. see more WATCH AND LISTEN -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT TO EXPECT We are meeting in person under CDC guidelines. (See “What to Know…”) The service will last about an hour. There will be singing, readings from the Bible, a message, prayers, and communion. You are free to participate (or not) in any parts you feel comfortable with. We’ll welcome you, but we won’t pressure you to join, decide, share, volunteer for, or give anything. Kids are great, and we welcome them in our services. We know that sometimes means a little extra noise. When that happens we’ll do our best to give you space to work your parental magic. After the service, the children are invited to a Bible study which includes lunch for them. This is also available via Zoom for those who do not attend in person. Please contact Kathy Witto at parish@sjebrooklyn.org for more information about this program -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARRIVE There are a few specific guidelines during this current pandemic. Sit whatever you want, as long as there is a blue X and a posted sign there. This will allow for the proper social distancing to keep all members and visitors safe. We will be happy to greet you with a wave or an elbow bump, but will refrain from shaking your hand. Masks are required and can be provided for you if you need one. When you come in, you’ll receive a booklet that contains everything you need to follow the service. You can also follow along on the big screens in front of the sanctuary. You’re welcome to participate—it’s a great way to enhance your experience—but don’t feel like you have to. We’ll collect an offering to support our work, but if you’re just checking us out we don’t expect anything from you.
