We're working on some extra accessibility updates (and by we, I mostly mean
llama) for the site, and we're thinking of doing a write up about it later in
case other comic artists might like to have a look. Or at least folks who also
use Comic Fury that are interested in keeping their sites accessible.

IN OTHER NEWS, I am... not doing well financially at the moment!

It's almost impossible to get pet sitting jobs where we live now, so I'm missing
out on the majority of my income. If you've been enjoying the comic and would

I don't host ads here and I'm not getting anything from mirroring on Tapas and
Webtoons, so right now I'm kind of making the comic with very little return.
Which would be fine if I was getting pet sitting clients still, but yeah.

TRANSCRIPT

Chris doesn’t notice Ray, who stops and bites his bottom lip. He appears to be
sweating nervously.

Without a word, Ray engulfs his hands in flames.

Meanwhile, Alex and Nathan are still in town. Nathan is speaking to an old man
sitting at the front of a cart full of hay bales, which is pulled by a large,
fluffy, yak-like creature wearing a halter. The old man has the look of a
farmer, along with a long scar over his sightless left eye and a wooden
prosthetic instead of a left foot.

NATHAN: Thanks, Eli. And you can get her all the way to the manor?

ELI: Sure can. I've got to be on my way in about an hour, though. Make sure
you're at the town gates by then, kid.

ALEX: I'll be there. Thanks!

The yak-thing, which Alex has been petting and spoiling, happily licks her face
with its large tongue.
