Scheduled sending allows you to schedule an envelope to be sent at a specific date and time in the future. This means you can prepare envelopes ahead of time and schedule them to send automatically without further intervention. Scheduled sending is useful any time you want to prepare an envelope to send later. Some use case examples for scheduled sending: * Preparing an envelope at the end of your work day to send the next morning. * Sending an event registration form on the date when registration opens. * Sending an offer of employment 24 hours after a background check has been completed. * Sending an insurance policy cancellation notice ten days after a missed premium payment. Note: Scheduled sending is not supported for remote online notary. Part 11 accounts can use scheduled sending. Scheduled sending is supported for envelopes with a bulk send recipient. The schedule is applied to all envelopes in a bulk send batch. What is the status of a scheduled envelope? Scheduled envelopes are located in your Drafts folder with a status of Scheduled. You can continue working on the envelope just like other drafts. How far ahead can you schedule an envelope? You schedule envelopes to send at a specific date and time in the future. The minimum is 30 minutes from the current time. The maximum is 30 days. Reminders for scheduled envelopes Automatic reminders behave the same as for your other sent envelopes: the reminder schedule is based on when the envelope is sent. So, for example if you schedule an envelope to be sent on Monday and you set the first reminder to be sent in two days the reminder will go out on Wednesday. 1. Prepare your envelope, adding the documents, recipients, envelope information, and recipient fields. 2. Click the dropdown arrow next to the SEND button and select Send Later. 3. In the Send Later window, set the Date and Time you want the envelope to be sent. Then select SEND LATER. The time zone used in scheduling is based on the time and date settings in your account profile. Your envelope is scheduled to send automatically at the date and time you selected.
