school's learning environment. The ST MUGAGA SS KIGANDA teaching team is
selected from competent, experienced and highly qualified teachers who really
understand the subjects they teach. It is no exaggeration to say that ST MUGAGA

CURRICULUM OBJECTIVES

 * Our Ugandan secondary school curriculum aims to provide students with a
   well-rounded education that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking,
   creativity, practical skills and values necessary for personal growth. These
   guidelines are reviewed and updated regularly to ensure relevance, quality
   and alignment with development goals and educational standards.


SECONDARY EDUCATION

 * Secondary education consists of two levels: Ordinary Level (O-Level) and
   Advanced Level (A-Level).
 * O-Level education covers four years, from Senior One (S.1) to Senior Four
   (S.4). It includes a broad range of subjects, including core subjects like
   English, mathematics, sciences, and social studies.
 * A-Level education spans two years, from Senior Five (S.5) to Senior Six
   (S.6). Students specialize in specific subject areas based on their interests

the newly appointed principal of ST MUGAGA SS KIGANDA, I am deeply honored and
excited to join this esteemed institution dedicated to excellence in education,
character development and holistic student success. Together, we will continue
to uphold the rich traditions, values, and spirit of excellence that define our
school community.

ELECTIVE SUBJECTS

 * Commerce: Business studies, accounting, economics, and entrepreneurship.
 * Technical and Vocational Education: Agriculture, woodwork, metalwork,
   technical drawing, building and construction, and computer studies.
 * Other subjects: Additional mathematics, geography, economics, and computer
   studies.
