          <p>All visitors must book an appointment to visit our Reuse and Recycling Centres. To book a slot you'll need an <strong>email address and the registration number</strong> of the vehicle you're arriving in.</p>
          <p>Only available dates and times are shown and appointments are released 14 days in advance. To change or cancel an existing booking, click on the link in your confirmation email.</p>
          <p>If you do not have an email address, you'll need to call our customer contact centre during office hours on 0117 922 2100 to make a booking.</p>

          <h2>When visiting the recycling centres, please follow the site rules:</h2>
          <ul>
            <li>We’ve allowed 15 minutes on site for each booking slot, please separate materials before coming to site. </li>
            <li>Please arrive 5 mins before your slot starts.</li>
            <li>You’ll need to <a href="https://www.recyclingcentrebooking.bristol.gov.uk/renderform?t=4&amp;k=1A44F291599A0112DDB22E2C3B78354E11C82F08" target="_blank">apply for a permit</a> to access the sites if you’re a resident with a van,
              pick-up or towing a trailer over 1.52 metres (5 feet) in length. Get a reminder if you've <a href="https://www.recyclingcentrebooking.bristol.gov.uk/Bookings/permit/reminder" target="_blank">forgotten your permit number</a>.</li>
            <li>Vehicles over 2.4m high will need to use the Hartcliffe Way Reuse and Recycling Centre.</li>
            <li>You must arrive in the vehicle you registered when booking.</li>
          </ul>
          <h2>Chargeable DIY waste</h2>
          <p>We make a charge (inclusive of VAT) for the below materials. Payment is taken online when booking a slot to visit the reuse and recycling centre. Charges apply for the below materials</p>

          <p>The charge payable will be based upon the quantity of the material to be deposited using the stated rates as an indicative guide.</p>
          <p>Should the Site Supervisor determine you have brought more chargeable materials for disposal than paid for on the booking you may not be able to dispose of the additional materials.</p>
          <p>Payment for bags/sheets will be whole multiples of ‘bags’ e.g. 3 x £4.00 not 2.75 x £4.00.</p>
          <p>If you need to cancel your paid DIY waste booking, you will be entitled to a refund. In order to cancel your booking, you must let us know before your booking slot. You can do this by clicking on the cancellation link in your
            confirmation email. If you don’t have access to email, please call Waste Services on 01179 222100 to speak to an advisor.</p>
          <p>The sites are only for the use of Bristol City Council residents. It is illegal to bring business, trade or construction waste to the recycling centres.</p>
          <p>A “bag” is defined as “a small, plastic sand/aggregate bag from standard DIY stores that can be safely lifted by one person”. A propriety rubble bag is not classed as a small bag and may incur an additional charge.</p>

BOOK A VISIT TO THE REUSE AND RECYCLING CENTRE


BEFORE YOU START

All visitors must book an appointment to visit our Reuse and Recycling Centres.
To book a slot you'll need an email address and the registration number of the
vehicle you're arriving in.

Only available dates and times are shown and appointments are released 14 days
in advance. To change or cancel an existing booking, click on the link in your
confirmation email.

If you do not have an email address, you'll need to call our customer contact
centre during office hours on 0117 922 2100 to make a booking.

WHEN VISITING THE RECYCLING CENTRES, PLEASE FOLLOW THE SITE RULES:

   materials before coming to site.
 * Please arrive 5 mins before your slot starts.
 * You’ll need to apply for a permit to access the sites if you’re a resident
   with a van, pick-up or towing a trailer over 1.52 metres (5 feet) in length.
   Get a reminder if you've forgotten your permit number.
 * Vehicles over 2.4m high will need to use the Hartcliffe Way Reuse and

CHARGEABLE DIY WASTE

We make a charge (inclusive of VAT) for the below materials. Payment is taken
online when booking a slot to visit the reuse and recycling centre. Charges
apply for the below materials

Soil and rubble: Including bricks, blocks, slates, tiles, rubble, paving slabs,
concrete, gravel, tarmac, stones, soil, sand, hardcore and sanitary ware
(ceramic toilets, sinks, pedestals etc) £2.90 per bag/item Plasterboard:
Includes plaster and gypsum related products £4.50 per sheet/bag Plasterboard
(with other materials attached): such as tiles, foil insulation or any other
materials £9.50 per sheet/bag Asbestos: cement bonded asbestos only, must be
double wrapped in tough plastic and completely sealed. We will accept a maximum
of 6 sheets/bags. The site will not accept unwrapped asbestos £11 per sheet/bag
