Congratulations to the varsity boys soccer team from Richards High School on
winning first place at the Rivals Tournament with a 2-0 shutout of Herscher in
the championship match!  Overall Bulldogs went 5-0-1 at the tournament.

Congratulations to the Eisenhower marching band on winning first place at the
Plainfield South HS Marching Invitational! Cardinal Regiment also won caption
awards for Best Auxiliary and Best Percussion in their class.

Congratulations to the Shepard High School marching band on taking second place
in Class AA at the Northern Illinois University marching band competition!

Congratulations to the U.S. Navy JROTC physical fitness team from Richards High
School on taking place out of 24 teams at the Bloom Trail PT competition!

More than 100 students and staff members from District 218 attended the
International Manufacturing Technology Smartforce Student Summit 2022 at
McCormick Place.

Congrats to the current Eisenhower students who passed at least one AP test last
spring!  Each received an awesome lawn sign.

Congrats to the current Shepard students who qualified as AP Scholars!

Congrats to the current Eisenhower students who qualified as AP Scholars (they
appear with AP counselor Cynthia Saldana)!

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Josh Barron and several other members of the
District 218 administrative staff welcomed the superintendents from feeder
elementary districts in early September to discuss articulation and other topics
of mutual interest.

Congrats to coach Zeno Toscas and the Shepard varsity boys soccer team on taking
second place at the Windy City Soccer Classic!
