Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co. K.S.C. (Public), HEISCO, is a
major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contracting company based
in Kuwait with a diversified range of business in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals,
Power, Pressure Equipment Manufacturing, Shipbuilding & Repair, Dredging &
Marine Construction, Civil Construction, Maintenance and other industrial
services including Heavy Industry projects.

HEISCO's commitment to its clients is proven by its quality management system
certification to ISO 9001: 2015 and Occupational Health & Safety Management
System certification to ISO 45001: 2018 and the Environmental Management System
certification to ISO 14001:2015 standards. HEISCO is one of the approved
contractors of Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) for Civil Construction –
Category 1, and Electrical works – Category 2.

Established in 1974 to initially meet the demands of the shipping and maritime
industry in the Northern Arabian Gulf, HEISCO expanded its operations to meet
the challenges of emerging markets. Today, HEISCO has become one of the leading
industrial companies in Kuwait having made a major contribution to the
development of the country's commercial and industrial infrastructure.   We have

employees. HEISCO is certified to ISO 45001: 2018 for its occupational health
and safety management system.

Our activities strictly comply with local HSE rules and regulations.  We are
committed to the health and safety of people and environment where we operate.
 Our current incident rates are indicative of our excellence in HSE performance
and stand higher when compared to international standards.

HEISCO has a pool of qualified and experienced HSE personnel and possesses
required safety equipment and gears for the safe execution of projects. Some of
the recent HSE awards conferred on HEISCO are:

 * Petrofac – Award in recognition of achieving 10 Million Safe man-hours for
   Internal Civil Works for GC-29 Project – 2017.
 * Petrofac – Award in recognition of achieving 10 Million Safe man-hours for
   Construction of Storage Tanks for GC-29 Project – 2017.
 * FDH JV - Best Contractor of the month Award for CFP MAB2 -2017.
 * KOC - Memento in recognition of H2S Hazards and Prevention Measures (Campaign
   & Exhibition) – 2017.
 * MEW – ZSPS Contractor of the Year 2016-17

SECURITY

HEISCO Security operates within the International Ship and Port Facility
Security (ISPS) guidelines. A highly trained security team monitors the shipyard
premises 24 hrs a day aided by a comprehensive CCTV network to ensure our
clients and operation are secure at all times.
