The Executive Board is made of rank-and-file UFCW 3000 Members from diverse workplaces, income levels and backgrounds. UFCW 3000 President Faye Guenther, Secretary-Treasurer Joe Mizrahi and Recorder Maria Milliron are the three UFCW 3000 staff members on the Board. Make sure you get updates from the Executive Board by keeping your contact information up to date! More about our elected executive board >> We are the Union. The members of UFCW 3000 are over 50,000 members working in grocery, retail, health care, meat packing, cannabis, & other industries across Washington state, north-east Oregon, and northern Idaho. UFCW 3000 is a chartered member of UFCW International with over 1.4 million workers in North America. The members of UFCW 3000 exercise our collective power through our union to overcome corporate power at work and in our communities, building a world that enables all of us to realize our highest aspirations. Members build collective power through UFCW 3000 to win a workplace where we are well respected and properly paid for our essential contributions. Through our Union we become leaders in making our communities places where everyone can be safe and thrive at work and at home. THE CHALLENGES WE FACE AND HOW WE WIN Big corporations and political operatives push down wages and benefits, so that working people can’t meet the basics to care for and support our families. These forces hold on to power by pitting us against each other on the job and in our communities, pushing the false and divisive idea that when one of us does better, someone else loses. The antidote to corporate power that seeks to divide is collective worker power that unites. When we use our collective power through our Union, at work and in our communities, to assure that each of us does better, we all do better. By organizing more people to join our Union and raise their voices with us, we exercise our collective power to be stronger leaders, creating a world where the voices of working people are at the center of decision making at every workplace. Through our Union we all can lead and create a world where our families and communities thrive. Our Union’s growing number of active member-leaders are the catalyst for change in every workplace and in every contract negotiation. Members lead at work and in our communities through action, compassion, and collective power. By showing and sharing our victories we bring confidence to those who want to organize for change. We win when we build unity in our workplaces and participate in our democracy and communities. Our Union will always reflect the strength of our memberships diversity, and together we will fight for better, safer, more fulfilling lives. Through the collective power of working people, the members of UFCW 3000 and our communities, we organize and advocate for a world where we all thrive regardless of where we come from, what we look like, or where we live. We fight so every person has the respect, protection, and compensation they deserve to thrive with dignity. We have the power to change the system so that it works for all working people, including people who have been most often left out because of color, gender, sexual orientation, or lack of wealth. We will strive together to win our shared vision of a world where we all realize our highest aspirations. We are the Union. Need a union?
