How to Discern a True Work of the Spirit
Many key passages in the New Testament tell us how to discern the spiritual
source of a teaching that claims to be from God. John 15:26 says that the Holy
Spirit will bear witness to Christ. There are wicked spirits that are the source
of teachings and the Bible tells us how to discern them. What we must do is know
and look for the true doctrine of Christ. Those who speak by the Holy Spirit
will always confess the person and work of Christ and do so thoroughly and
consistently. False prophets have a false doctrine of Christ. When we hear human
wisdom rather than the doctrine of Christ we can know that this is not from God.
In this video, we show case after Biblical case where the Holy Spirit comes upon
someone and they proclaim Christ.
