GW Blogs is a self-service blog and website publishing platform powered by
CampusPressOpens in a new window. The service is available at no cost to current
GW faculty, staff, and students for academic, official, and personal use.

Websites and blogs designated as Official Blogs may be used by departments,
offices, and current faculty and staff for websites that relate to official
university business. Official blogs include GW branding.

Some examples include:

 * a GW department’s blog
 * a blog or website about a funded research project at GW
 * a blog or website for a GW initiative

Websites and blogs designated as Unofficial Blogs may be used by current
faculty, staff and students for individual's websites. Unofficial blogs do not
include GW branding and include disclaimer text.

Some examples include:

 * a student, staff or faculty member’s blog or website
 * a site created for a student class project

GW BLOGS OR GW DRUPAL?

GW Blogs cannot replace your department's website on GW Drupal or your school's
CMS without prior approval. If you're unsure which platform to use, submit a
website project request and our team can provide a recommendation.




STUDENT ORGS

Student organizations should use the form to submit a request for a student org
website. The request will be reviewed by the Division for Student Affairs and
the Office of Communications & Marketing for approval.


CUSTOM GRAPHIC DESIGNS

Need custom graphics designed for your blog? Submit a project request to the
design team in the Office of Communications & Marketing. Design services are
complimentary, and will be reviewed and processed in the order in which they are
received.
