EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES AND ADVANCING HEALTH EQUITY

The mission of the Arkansas Health Equity and Access Lab (HEAL) is to pioneer
research, foster collaboration, and drive innovation to measurably reduce health
disparities and increase access to care in Arkansas. Through rigorous
investigation, community engagement, and strategic partnerships, we strive to
create transformative solutions that address the root causes of health
inequities throughout the state. Our work is grounded in a commitment to
evidence-based practices and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity
to achieve their highest level of health.

HEAL is a joint endeavor between the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and
the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Little Rock.
