I started a new character which is very weak because of the low level, so I need
some pros (anybody who has a character at least lvl40 or idk). Originally posted

Lastly, if anything, the insanity levels need better scaling - too many weapons
are completely useless on high insanity at the hardest difficulty, like firing a
nerf gun. It's bad enough that the Medusa ray comes preloaded with such a
rubbish gem, meaning you can only fit two gems without spending orbs and it's
not even that good of a weapon to begin with in the insanity levels. I would
also like to see blocking given more depth,like being able to block force slash
attacks and maybe even hit them back at enemies.Īs for the elemental variants, I
don't see why they even have to be locked down in the first place. Heartily
agreed on the knock back skill, those spinning lady demons can be absolutely
infuriating when you're just trying to aim properly. Chance to instakill is a
bad idea since it would make slow heavy hitting weapons weaker than fast
attacking weapons by default. I don't think a stealth skill is worth adding at
all since we already have Vanish and that will always do the job better. Damage
Negation is not a good idea for this game as it ruins the spirit of the game
(using your speed to dodge attacks rather than ignore them) and would make tank
melee builds overpowered. Knockback is what makes those robot maid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so
irritating since they can spam their own force slashes at you and knock you all
over the place. So basically, I agree, but the devs need to be very careful with
how the system works so it doesn't break stuff too hard.Ĭ) I would love a skill
that reduces knockback taken from enemies. I always felt that Feuerfaust could
potentially be the strongest weapon in the game if only you could get one with
Electric or Ice element on it. I do like the idea of being able to get a
Blizzard, Feuerfaust, Emperor's Touch, or Medusa Ray that aren't locked into
their specific element. It's a simple system and the only reason anyone would
want a change is if they're bad at the game to the point where they can't even
finish the story on Maybe it would be OK if they made it so only specific
weapons could have special randomized versions of themselves drop from chests or
named enemies, but there are many weapons that absolutely should not have this
effect as their base stats would either make all the randomized versions
horrible or ridiculously overpowered. You want high level stuff, be high level
and play on a high difficulty. Now they are all the same and are heavily
repeating! It is no fun to collect amulets like other perks!Ī)no more scaling,
also the change to find some high level stuff as low leveler!ī)random attributes
for wepaons, so you find more wepaons even the same with different attributes(up
to 5 atributes!!!)Ĭ)add as skill and as perk the ability not to throwback by

to block some of the damage with a certain change, recoil intensity, distance

For a while we treated this as a design principle for recognizing learning. This
dilemma was embodied in the distinction between (a) integrating badges into an
existing curriculum and (b) creating a badge system and a curriculum at the same
time. We conclude by introducing a dilemma we faced in this process. In a few
projects, badges were used as a supplement to a formal grade for in-school
experiences. Currently, only a couple of projects have successfully created
partnerships that allow a badge to directly result in formal academic
credit. This of course greatly increases the value of the badge for badge
earners.

Generally speaking, these badges were used to recognize the educators’
participation in the broader learning ecosystem.ĩ. These were sometimes that
same as the badges for students and other times they were specific to the
educators. This is a different principle that relates to the several projects
where additional badges were included alongside student badges. Some of the
projects awarded badges specifically to educators. While many projects did not
explicitly discuss whether or not their badges would expire or require
upgrading, a few made strong cases for learners being able to have permanent
credentials that will always exist to recognize that specific skill, knowledge,
or experience.Ĩ. Sometimes the expert held an external credential, while other
times the expert was credentialed by the community some projects include both.ħ.
But the nature and role of this expert varied quite a bit, as did that way that
the expert was him or herself credentialed. At some level, some expert is
associated with issuing badges.

Having experts issue badges increases the credibility of the badge and likely
influences the usefulness of the credential outside of the issuing community.

general term of “recognizing” to emphasize that many of the practices for
recognizing learning with badges are more informal. As succinctly put by
Mozilla's Carla Casilli and Erin Knight in their EDUCAUSE Brief, "badges signify
accomplishments such as completion of a project, mastery of a skill, or marks of
experience." An important distinction here was made by David Wileywhen he
pointed out that "badges are not assessments…badges are things we award to
people who pass assessments.” First and foremost, digital badges serve to
recognize some learning or accomplishment.
