Dear Scott,

The app update containing the new virtual parking permit will not be available
tomorrow, Monday, April 15. As a result, members will not be fined for not
having a virtual parking permit should they park in the designated permit holder
only bays on Driver Avenue. MP1 East will operate as advised below.

Members will be sent further communications once the virtual parking permit is
ready for use.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As of Monday, April 15, approximately 186 car spaces will be available in the
Eastern side of MP1 and a further 100 spaces on Driver Avenue (map here). The
western side of MP1 will gradually close to allow construction to begin.

Additional new car spaces a short walk away on Driver Avenue will be marked
“Permit Holders Only”. You and your guests will be required to gain a virtual
permit pass each time you visit the Sporting Club to access the permit spots.
Please see instructions below on how to access your virtual parking permit
pass.

Please note important information below:
 * Access to MP1 is subject to capacity and requires you to scan your card on
   entry at the boom gate.
 * All parking will be for a maximum of three hours during Sporting Club of
Sydney opening hours on non-event days, which will allow you the time
required to use the facilities and ensure parking is available for as many
members as possible throughout the day. Please note, if time limits are
exceeded, fines will apply and may result in the loss of member parking
   privileges.
 * If members access the facility multiple times a day, note that re-entry into
MP1 will not be permitted within 6 hours of exiting after the previous visit.
This rule also applies to the virtual parking permits.
 * The new parking spaces on Driver Avenue will not be available prior to and
during events at Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground, with
clearways in place and event day road closures.
 * Accessible parking is available in MP1 East.
 * Electric vehicle charging units will be available however corresponding
parking spaces will not be exclusive to electric vehicles.
 * If parking spaces have been exhausted, the Entertainment Quarter offers
two-hour free parking on non-event days, or there is metered parking
available at the southern end of Driver Avenue.
 * We encourage those who can, to walk or ride to the Sporting Club, make the
most of public transport in the area or car share.
 * The current event day parking arrangements will remain in place.
 * From June, the eastern side of MP1 will close to allow for the final stage of
the Village Precinct and Car Park. Updated parking arrangements will be
communicated ahead of the closure of MP1.

The parking feature will become live on the Sporting Club of Sydney app across
the weekend. If you require assistance setting up your app, an information guide
can be found here. Alternatively, you can contact the Membership Services team
membership@scgt.nsw.gov.au or speak to reception at The Sporting Club of Sydney.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and for letting your guests know of
these alternate parking arrangements during the main construction phase of the
Village Precinct and Car Park.

VIRTUAL PARKING PASS STEP BY STEP

1

Open the Sporting Club of Sydney app and login with your membership number and
password. This is the same password you will use to login to the membership
portal. If you are a guest of a member, i.e. you have previously accepted a
digitally-shared membership card, login as a member’s guest using your email
address and Sporting Club of Sydney app password.

NOTE: If you are not a Sporting Club of Sydney Member and have not yet created a
Sporting Club of Sydney app account, you will not be able to access the virtual
parking pass. For more information on how to set up your app account or share a
digital membership card, click here.

The virtual parking feature on the app is only for parking on Driver Avenue.
Members will scan their member card upon entry to MP1.

2

Tap the parking icon on the home page. Members and/or guests will not be
eligible to park in the designated parking spots if they are not holding an
active Digital Membership Card.

3

Input your vehicle's registration number and the state of registration.

4

Confirm your details. Please ensure both the registration number and
state/territory information are correct. Failure to provide the correct details
may result in fines being issued, even if you are holding a valid Sporting Club
of Sydney membership card.

5

You will then be eligible for three hours free parking. When you’ve finished,
click “Leave Car Park”.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PARKING LIMITS & INFRINGEMENTS

To ensure parking is available to as many members as possible throughout the
day, fines will be issued to those who exceed the three-hour parking time limit.

Members and/or guests who park in MP1 East will be required to scan their
membership card through the boom gate on entry and out again upon exit. If the
three-hour limit is exceeded, members and/or guests will be required to pay the
parking rate displayed, corresponding to the duration of their stay. Payments
can only be made via card at the boom gate upon exit.

Members and/or guests who park in the permit holder spaces on Driver Avenue will
be issued a fine if the three-hour parking limit is exceeded.

Parking fines are final and cannot be revoked or refunded.

Can I share a card to another member, or someone on the SCG waitlist?

 * No. Members cannot send or accept shared cards to/from other Members or

   here.

How soon after vacating the parking can I or my guest revisit?
