THE HOME OF RETRO GAMING

In the heart of Leicestershire lies a building brimming with gaming history!

Featuring classic systems such as the Sinclair Spectrum, Commodore 64, Commodore
Amiga and Atari 2600. Gaming giants including Nintendo NES, Sega MegaDrive, Xbox
and PlayStation. Plus the truly unique Virtuality VR systems and the one of a
kind CD1200!

However we haven't got to the best bit! Everything is out to not only touch, but
to play on! Using original hardware and with a colossal software library. It
truly is a gamers paradise!

     As a fan of Retro Gaming and Computers this place seemed like the perfect
   place to visit and indeed it was. chock full of machines to play on.
   Magazines and... read more books to peruse and a game library of boxes an
   cassette tapes to reminisce over. It was a great morning out. The staff I
   spoke to were very friendly and I could have easily have spent most of the
   day chatting to them. Definitely a place I want to revisit in future.
   I would say give yourself a good few hours if you want to have a good look
   round and play on everything. But do visit if retro computing is your thing.

     This was just a fantastic experience from start to finish. We spent 3 and a
   bit hours there fully immersed in the different consoles available and
   arcades, of which there... read more were many. My autistic son felt at ease
   and for us that is rare. They understood his needs and when he got a bit
   excited and noisy didn't have any issues with it.
   
   The people who run this place are so knowledgeable and are happy to answer
   any questions or queries. When my son asked if they had a specific game they
   made it appear instantly.
   
   My husband was very impressed that they held a rare console, and the guys
   were happy to talk him through some fun facts about it and even let him hold
   it.
   
   The library was extensive and had it not gotten busier I think we would have
   spent even longer there easily (son doesn't do well in crowds).
   
   Id absolutely recommend to everyone. We cant wait to come back.

     playable classic computers and games. Great arcade aswell  - Brilliant.
   Retro for the adults. Kids loved it also. Kids said, "best museum we've ever
   been to!!"

     Fantastic day for me and the family, all the volunteers are lovely and
   approachable. We stayed a lot longer than I thought we would as there is so
   much to... read more absorb if you love your retro computers and gaming. Any
   game you can think you want to play and relive is here.
   
   If you have kids they will love the arcade area my son turned round and said
   “we can keep playing them for free!?”
   
   I will be bring my friends along as well as we will be all into this

   When we arrived, there was plenty of parking and showing my... read more
   online tickets was a breeze.
   A member of staff gave us a tour and offered to help with anything we needed.
   The 70s, 80s and 90s memorabilia was amazing and to be able to actually play
   these games with my son was great.
   The staff are really knowledgable and clearly like computer games themselves
   and that enthusiasm shows.
   Would definitely recommend.

     Amazing nostalgic visit to computers in my youth - An amazing trip back in
   time to the late 70s, 80s, 90s and Noughties to the computers and games we
   all grew up with in those decades. All my... read more childhood and teenage
   memories brought back to vivid life. Everything is interaction and playable
   and many of the original games can be played (minus the slow loading times!).
   Thoroughly lost myself in this place for 3-4 hours and if your loved
   computers and tech in the 80s and later then this place is for you. Lots of
   friendly staff on hand to help out and explain the history of each of the
   machines. Amazing visit and I wished I lived closer to Leicester so I could
   go every week
