THE KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BOARD

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board is a public sector autonomous
organization established under an Act of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in May
2011 for the promotion of Information Technology, Information Technology enabled
services and Information Technology enabled education for the public and private
sector of the Province of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

‘‘We, at KPITB, have an unwavering commitment and resolve to ensure that the
best use of technology is adopted to bring about a positive and sustainable
transformation in the public sector, and uplift our private ICT sector. To

of digital workers by tailoring interventions specific to human development. By
doing so, we intend to develop a competitive technology sector, and an efficient
digital governance framework, that will lead to an increase in ICT exports, and
wealth creation for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan.’’


KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA GOES DIGITAL

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board is striving to adopt the best
practices that have led many countries successfully transition towards a digital
transformation to achieve the desired objectives and are actively working on
four main pillars of the digital policy are, Digital Economy, Digital Access,
Digital Skills, and Digital Governance. Under each pillar, multiple projects of
different magnitudes and scales are being implemented & executed across the
province.

connectivity.
