The experience with the cdk import command is really nice and takes away a lot
of manual steps. But if you start with a new stack as in my case, deploy an
empty stack first before importing resources. The error message is very
misleading...

Hopefully
#awswishlist
works here as well: I want that the ECR PullThrough cache makes the `library`
path for official images transparent Currently it fails if the library prefix is
missing but tools often allow only to set one prefix and that breaks for
official images.

Check out the very cool #AWS Region Comparison tool at region-comparison.aws.com
. Select two regions and you will see which services, APIs, EC2 instance types,
and DB engines differ with respect to availability. Source is available; link at

Calling all Amazon ECS developers that are going to be at reInvent! Let me buy
you breakfast! The ECS team is looking to have a sit down and learn about how
you develop on ECS. We want to know what is working and what needs improvement.

No one gets promoted for removing chaos or saying no to prematurely built
artifacts that are guaranteed to drag the company down. Until this culture
doesn't change, I don't expect anything to change.

The AWS community team has been the gold standard because of the amazing folks
there that go above and beyond EVERY TIME. The recent "relocate or resign"
edicts are inhumane & the best way to quickly destroy years of carefully
nurtured relationships. Great article from

Nice, just created a self-destroy mechanism for my personal stacks. With the
1-minute timeout my stuck was immediately gone after update 😂 Using EventBridge
Schedules and their AWS API integration.

But CloudFormation docs need some examples. Wasn't easy to figure out all the
values.

but I think I sneaked in already earlier. To the Munich folks: See you later!
