by Anonymous from Poor Ergomtrics, Good Performance Even with high capacity, I
like to trasfer my pictures to my computer after each session and save battery
power by using this reader. In the short time I have been using it, it has
pewrformed flawlessly an quickly. The problem that I have with it is that the
very short cable makes it necessary to reach all the way to the floor. (My Dell
has the USB ports near the bottom and my computer desk has the compartment below
the keyboard.) On top of that, the plastic cover is difficult to remove and the
card is too tightly held to make insertion and removal difficult. In short, the
packaging is definitely not user friendly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Zeke from Unreliable Card Reader I purchased this product in
February to conveniently load my photos and HD video to my computer. Truthfully,
from the beginning I had issues. The reader plugs and installs to Windows 7 just
fine. The inconsistency stems from several corrupted cards.

During files transfers to a PC hard drive, the card would become corrupted. This
occurred on my two SanDisk HDSC Extreme cards and my two Transcend SDHC cards -
all of which are Class 10. I ended up buying another card reader from Kingston
and have seen my issues stop.


INSIGNIA USB 2.0 ALL-IN-ONE MEMORY CARD READER

I regret that my unit didn't work out as it would have been a great, portable
solution. Rated 5 out of 5 by Ron from great inexpensive tool fro SDHC users I
have been using CF and SD cards for years. Never had a problem all the way up to
8gb CF cards. Bought a 4gb and 8gb HC SD card with a new Canon point and shoot
on line from B&H. Was not aware that the SDHC cards would not be readable in my
card readers. Thought I would need to find driver updates but a t/c to B&H
enlightened me as to the need for the SDHC card reader. Worked immediatley and
is an absolute must for all SHDC users.
