The Blocklist Tester (BLT) performs tests for those using the Data Query Service
(DQS) or Public Mirrors.

Users can run the following types of tests on either service:

 * SMTP - Tests the rejection of malicious emails during SMTP delivery, based on
   the information available before the transmission of the message headers and
   body. This tool automatically classifies the results of these tests,
   detailing if your server is correctly configured. We recommend running the
   SMTP tests first, before moving on to content tests.
 * Content - Tests malicious emails based on the content scanning of email
   headers and body. If your system is configured to reject based on content,
   this tool will classify the results as for the SMTP tests. However, if your
   system delivers spam messages with a tag and/or to a particular folder,
   you'll need to check that they have been processed as expected.
