WHAT THE COMPANY IS DOING

Arvest Bank is a bank with branch offices in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and
Missouri and is headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas. It is Arkansas' most
prominent and oldest bank and is one of the largest banks in the U.S. The Walton
family owns almost 100% of the company.


HOW BIG IT IS

Arvest Bank operates over 260 bank branches across the networks of sixteen
locally run banks in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas, each with its own
Management and Advisory Board. Customers in over 120 areas served in most
locations with 12-hour weekday operational time. Arvest also offers a broad
range of banking services, including credit, deposits, treasury administration,
wealth and asset management, life insurance, credit cards, mortgage credit, and
mortgage service. Arvest is an FDIC affiliate and equal housing lender. Arvest
is dedicated to the community and values our education relationship.


THE HISTORY OF THE BRAND

The charter of Arvest was established in 1871 by the McIlroy Bank Trust. In
2000, Arkansas Central Bank and Trust acquired the first venture of Arvest in
central Arkansas 2003, Baxter and Marion Counties, Ark. The bank acquired
Harrington Bank in November 2009. Union Bank was acquired in June 2012. In March
2013, 29 branches were acquired from the Bank of America in Arkansas, Kansas,
Missouri, and Oklahoma. The bank bought Bear State Financial in April 2018,
containing 42 branches and 2,2 billion assets. In June 2019, Arvest gave Walmart
1,2 trillion in stock but, thanks to an estimated 44 stake, remains the
wealthiest Walton in part.
