ABOUT US

Cashmere Creations, a Malaysian Company, was founded in 2018 by two people who
were passionate about empowering women and keeping the cottage industries alive
in Kashmir. The founders, Rahil and Rebekah, one being a Malaysian and the other
a Kashmiri, embarked on a journey of engaging their very own artisans in Kashmir
to make Pashmina Shawls while sustaining and supporting the important
handicraft-cottage industry there. Rahil, whose family has been in the Kashmiri
handicraft business for generations, had a vision since he was a little boy to
showcase the products that his family makes to the world. Rebekah who was always
passionate about women empowerment had worked in the corporate sector for 3
decades and had a calling to help and support the vulnerable Kashmiri women who
live in a conflict zone. The founders were destined to meet and fulfill both
their dreams and purpose. Hence, the inception of Cashmere Creations.

The wall hanging was shipped and delivered quickly. The seller was very
attentive, checking in with the company and me about delivery as it was coming
from Malaysia to Canada. I appreciated the care that was taken. The wall hanging
is gorgeous. Beautifully hand embroidered with the vibrant tree of life. It’s
beautiful! Made from quality materials. Highly recommend.
