MISSION STATEMENT

To provide humane care and treatment for animals, reunite pets with owners and
promote adoption of homeless animals; to educate the community in the area of
animal welfare. To prevent cruelty and provide relief of suffering among animals
in the area served.

SUPPORT AURORA ADOPT A PET

Aurora Adopt A Pet is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization reliant on financial
support and volunteers for our continued operation. We are grateful for the
assistance we receive from the Hamilton Community Foundation, the many
individual donors, newspaper ad sponsors and Mars Pet Care for providing food
for the dogs and cats under our care.

If you are interested in donating to support our cause, you can donate
financially by mailing a check to our address or by donating through Paypal.
Additionally, you can donate some of our much needed items through our Amazon or
Chewy Wishlist.

ADOPTION INFORMATION


Adopting a new pet is a big decision that will add new joys and responsibilities
to your life. Please consider how your pet will change your life and meet your
prospective pet to make sure he or she will fit in with your lifestyle.

We ask that you complete and submit an application form to start the adoption
process. You can fill out and submit our adoption application by clicking on the
“Adoption Application” button below. The adoption process may take a few days
while applications are reviewed. For your information, an adoption contract form
is included but does not need to be completed at this time.

VOLUNTEERING FOR AURORA ADOPT-A-PET

We are an all-volunteer organization so we appreciate the efforts of those who
wish to give their time and talents to help us fulfill our mission. Please find
the Volunteer Application and Agreement below.

Volunteer Application forms can be submitted online through the link below or
are also available for pick-up at our shelter.
