Welcome


WELCOME TO HER2 SUPPORT GROUP

 

We are patients, caregivers, mothers, daughters, sons and husbands of breast
cancer survivors who are HER2 positive. We gather here to seek information about
the illness. Here you will find newly diagnosed patients and long term survivors
willing to share their experiences and knowledge.

 

We celebrate our succssses and share our failures. When this website was
launched on December 24th 2001, the breast cancer patient who was HER2 positive
was pitied as the only thing that their oncologist told them was "your cancer is
agressive and your prognosis is poor". Recent advances in treatment has reversed
this outlook and now we live longer and enjoy a much better quality of life than
ever before.
