MARC RICART

Managing Partner

Marc is a Co-Founder of XIC with over 16 years of structuring, investing and
lending experience in Latin American and Caribbean infrastructure and energy
projects. Marc has invested, under strict ESG guidelines, in over 80
transactions amounting close to US$1 Bn in invested capital, including some
early solar and wind financings and landmark infrastructure investments, that
received international recognition. More recently, Marc led the execution of
cross-border M&A and PPP transactions for global infrastructure investors in
South America. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director
of CIFI, a leading mid-market infrastructure and energy investment platform.
Earlier in his career, Marc worked in various economic development positions at
the Inter-American Development Bank. He holds both a M.Sc. in Finance, Cum
Laude, and a B.B.A. in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from The George Washington
University.

GEORGE OSORIO

Managing Partner

George has over 27 years of experience in private equity investment management
in infrastructure and power investments in Latin America and the Caribbean.
George was the Managing Partner, Co-founder, and Head of Investments at Conduit
Capital Partners LLC. George joined Scudder (the predecessor to Conduit) in 1995
to be part of the team managing Latin Power I, the first-ever Latin American
private equity fund. He was a pioneer investing in the region which included
many firsts in Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Jamaica, Panama, and Chile.
George was directly responsible for leading investments in each of these
markets; he also reviewed all potential transactions as head of investments.
George joined the team from Lehman Brothers Emerging Markets Group. Before
Lehman, he served for four years at the Chase Manhattan Bank, where he was part
of the International Trade Finance group. George holds a B.A. in Economics
Psychology from Cornell University and an M.B.A. Finance from Columbia Business
School.

CLAUDIA ARANGO

Managing Partner

Claudia has over 20 years of private equity experience in Latin America. Claudia
has led or participated in over 30 equity investments across a diverse number of
sectors including telecom, logistics, transportation, retail, agribusiness,
media, and industrial services. During her career in private equity, she has
provided board leadership to several organizations, where she successfully
guided companies to grow both domestically and internationally with strong
margins, through her strategic leadership, M&A expertise, and hands-on approach.
Claudia is the former Managing Director and founding member of the Latin
American Private Equity Fund at The Rohatyn Group (“TRG”). Before joining TRG,
she was a Director with the AIG Global Emerging Markets Private Equity Group
with a focus in Latin America. Claudia received an M.Sc. in Finance from the
University of Maryland and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad
de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.

MARC FRISHMAN

Managing Partner

Marc is a Co-Founder of XIC with over 20 years of experience, leading pioneering
private equity power, energy, and infrastructure projects around the world with
a focus in Latin America. Marc has led numerous pioneering investments in the
region including the first private utility scale hydroelectric projects in
Mexico, one of the first utility scale P.V. solar projects in South America, a
pan LatAm regional power and infrastructure company, and a state-of-the-art
broadband fiber optic cable company in Mexico, among others. Prior to joining
Exagon, Marc was a Managing Director at Barings where he created and led the
Global Power and Energy Infrastructure direct equity investment business. Before
Barings, Marc was a Managing Partner at Conduit Capital Partners, where starting
in 1998, he was responsible for investing private equity in power and energy
infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Marc has a B.A. from
Tulane University and an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global
Management.

Connecticut

Cynthia has over 30 years of experience in the investment management sector. She
is the former Executive VP, Head of Manager Research, Performance Analytics and
Investment Solutions at BNY Mellon Investment Management, responsible for $1.6
trillion in AUM. Today she sits in executive and investment committees
aggregating approximately US$45Bn in AUM.

Victoria has 30 years of experience in Emerging Market investment and finance.
Until February 2021, she was Managing Director of structured and infrastructure
investments at JP Morgan. She brings global emerging market investment
experience to the board, including decades focusing on the Latin America and the

Washington DC

Michael has over 30 years of experience in emerging markets investments, having
held senior positions in Darby Overseas Investments, the World Bank, the IFC and
Citicorp. He is also the former CEO of Dutch development bank FMO (1999-2005).
Today, he holds board positions in distinguished emerging market funds and
institutions, including EMPEA, the EM Growth Fund Inc. and the Procredit
Microfinance Group.

Gustavo has 30 years of experience in leadership roles both in the private
sector and government with emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, privatizations,
corporate finance, and public management. Most recently, he served as CEO of
InvestSP, the economic development agency of the state of São Paulo in Brazil
and prior he served as the Secretary of Agriculture for São Paulo, a state which
represents the third largest economy by GDP in Latin America, surpassed only by
Brazil itself and Mexico. Before his career in public service, Gustavo held
positions and directorships in the private sector including as Managing Partner
at Brasilpar. Earlier, he developed significant experience in power and
infrastructure investments across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America as
part of Enron’s Mergers & Acquisitions team.
