Lucas W. Morgan, Esq., is a skilled and assertive litigator and a Partner in
Frier Levitt’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Litigation groups, where he
represents healthcare and life sciences professionals in a variety of complex
matters. With a focus on advocating for the rights of pharmacies and other
healthcare providers, Lucas handles various types of disputes involving Pharmacy
Benefit Managers (“PBMs”) and also regularly navigates Board of Pharmacy (“BOP”)
matters in various legal issues, advising and representing clients in BOP
inspections, investigations, enforcement actions, and other related matters
across many jurisdictions nationwide.

Lucas handles complex disputes involving PBMs, including audit disputes and
network access issues, and in litigation, when necessary. Lucas’s in-depth
understanding of the highly consolidated PBM marketplace, which is dominated by
a small number of powerful corporations, allows him to counsel independent
pharmacy owners and operators on developing successful strategies for navigating
this unique environment.

Clients value Lucas’s thoroughness, attention to detail, and strong writing
skills, which he employs to articulate and advance their positions in briefs and
motions and achieve success in the courtroom.

Lucas often speaks at industry events and is a frequent author of alerts and
articles for various publications and trade associations. 

Lucas received a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. in
political science with a minor in business from The Ohio State University. Lucas
served as a law clerk to the Honorable James A. Farber, J.S.C. in the Superior
Court of New Jersey.
