… our ancestors managed to survive for several million years without the
benefits of science and technology, with due consideration given to the
importance of fire, stone tools and animal hides. Over the past century,
technology has not only redefined the means by which we humans survive on planet
earth, it has also revolutionized scientific understanding of the structure,
composition and boundaries of the physical reality we exist within. The
beginning of the twentieth century marked the emergence of a new field of
science called Quantum Physics, into mainstream scientific thought and
acceptance. Unfortunately, this scientific revolution, which occurred over one
hundred years ago, remains undiscovered territory in relation to our collective
understanding of how the universe works. Some would argue that this omission is
by design and ultimately for the common good, since it could be potentially
troublesome to have large numbers of people questioning the occult nature and
purpose of our existence. However, if the human race ever hopes to attain a more
peaceful and compassionate world, then we must first understand the reality in
which we exist. Without context, there can be no meaning, without meaning, there
can be no purpose.

Despite the fact that the discoveries of Quantum physics would ultimately lead
to the development of the atomic bomb, the vast majority of the human race
remains unaware of the larger implications of quantum reality.  The earth
shattering nuclear explosions of atomic bombs confirmed and demonstrated that
the theories of Quantum Physics are correct beyond our darkest dreams. The
principles of Quantum Physics also presented a mysterious roadmap of our
physical reality, that is far more profound than any of the concepts of
religious doctrine, or scientific theory, that has predominated human belief and
philosophy for thousands of years. Although many of us are accustomed to using
smart phones, computers and other types of advanced technology in our daily
lives, our common understanding of science remains stuck in the paradigms of the
seventeenth century, which has profound implications in the current course of
human affairs.

However, there exists an emerging cadre of scientists within the discipline of
quantum  physics who believe that the fundamental mechanics of our universe
strongly suggest that what we consider to be physical reality, is a type of
sophisticated Simulation. These scientists postulate that they observe
characteristics in the basic structure and function of the universe that emulate
computer logic, mathematical code and geometric symmetry. They believe these
indelible clues indicate the presence of non-random, alien logic in the
mechanics of how our universe evolved from simple elemental atoms, into the
infinite complexity we observe in the universe around us.

The concept of artificial reality, simulations, avatars and multiple universes
is a popular subject in science fiction movies, television and literature. From
a young age, we are exposed to alternate realities though movie animation,
cartoons and video games which have universal entertainment appeal. However,
most of us who love to watch science fiction, or imagine alternative worlds, are
unaware of the scientific discoveries that revolutionized the understanding of
the universe we live in. Science has provided us with significant evidence
regarding the structure and behavior of matter at the sub-atomic level. The data
confirms that our universe is indeed, some sort of artificial structure.

Physics is the science of matter and energy, which are the fundamental
components of the universe.

Currently, there are two Scientific Paradigms that define the accepted
theoretical models of how the universe works.

Classical / Newtonian Physics  - involves the physical function of the universe
at the very large scale of planets and stars over the vast distances of space.

Quantum Physics / Mechanics  - describes the electromagnetic properties and
function of the universe at the minute scale of atoms, electrons and photons.

While some believe that these two models of the universe are totally
contradictory, we shall find that they are both correct when considered in
relation to a Third Paradigm of physical reality; The Simulation Argument

In order to proceed on this journey, it would be useful to consider the
historical procession of scientific discoveries in relation to what we
understand about the universe in which we exist at this critical juncture of
human affairs.
