FAQS

What options are there for delivery & shipping?

At checkout on the “Delivery and Installation” page you will have the option to
select Ground Shipping (Self-Assembly Required) or Professional Delivery and
Assembly. Noncontiguous US orders will be charged an incremental shipping fee.

Ground Shipping (Self-Assembly Required) is free. Your rower will ship directly
to you 5-10 days from purchase. Your Ergatta rower will be shipped in 2 or 3
boxes. Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking
information. Once you have received the rower you will be able to easily self
assemble your rower. Opting for Self Assembly will not affect the warranty.

Professional Delivery and Assembly is available for an additional fee. Your
rower components will ship from Rhode Island directly to our local delivery
partner in your area. Our team will send you an email as soon as your order has
been shipped. Once all components have arrived with our delivery partner, they
will begin the assembly process; while they build the machine, they will also
run key quality assurance tests. When the machine is ready and has passed our
quality assurance checks, our delivery partner will contact you to coordinate
delivery that works for your schedule.

Do I need a membership to use Ergatta?

The Ergatta Rower is a fully functioning premium rower that can be used with or
without the household membership. In the absence of a household membership, you
will still be able to use your touchscreen with limited Ergatta access.

If you decide to purchase a household membership, you'll receive unlimited
profiles and an extensive offering of workouts and features, including but not
limited to:

 * Thousands of HIIT, endurance, conditioning, recovery, and technique workouts
 * A growing suite of interactive single and multiplayer gaming experiences –
   compete live or on demand
 * Scenic waterway destinations across the US, Europe, and Asia
 * A library of workout programs, designed by fitness professionals to coach you
   to meet your goals
 * Access to iOS and Android apps to plan workouts, track progress, and connect
   with rivals on the go
 * Integrations with Strava, Apple Health, and leading heart rate monitors
 * A community of 100,000+ friendly rivals to motivate, support, and challenge
   you

What heart rate monitors work with Ergatta?

Ergatta is compatible with a variety of heart rate monitors including Apple
Watch.

Note: Apple Watch Series 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are supported on Ergatta. Apple Watch
SE models may need to ensure that the display is active when starting your
workout to support connectivity.

Ergatta is compatible with most heart rate monitors that connect via open
Bluetooth. Other supported devices that we have tested and that we can confirm
are compatible with Ergatta include: Polar H9, Polar OH1, Polar H10,Garmin
HRM-Dual,Wahoo Tickr, and WHOOP.

You’ll be prompted to pair your HRM before your workout begins. Make sure your
HRM device is strapped on and powered on. Most chest-strap-based heart rate
monitors will power on automatically when they detect they’re strapped onto your
chest.

How do I clean the water in the tank?

The Ergatta requires little ongoing maintenance. In order to keep the water in
the tank clean, all you need to do is add a purification tablet every 6 months.
These are provided to you upon delivery and additional (free) tablets can be
requested here.

You will not need to empty the tank.

How do I pair my heart rate monitor?

First check that your heart rate monitor is one of our supported devices. We
currently support Apple Watch and heart rate monitors that connect via open
Bluetooth. Supported devices include: Polar H9,Polar OH1,Polar H10,Polar Verity
Sense (Optical HRM),Garmin HRM-Dual,Wahoo Tickr, WHOOP, the Coros Apex Pro Watch
and the Scosche Rhythm+ HRM.

You’ll be prompted to pair your HRM before you start your workout. Make sure
your HRM device is strapped on and powered on. Most chest-strap-based heart rate
monitors will power on automatically when they detect they’re strapped onto your
chest.

How do I connect to WiFI?

A strong and active internet connection is required to use Ergatta. Please
follow the on-screen instructions to connect to WiFi or you may connect an
ethernet cable to the Ergatta monitor. You may connect to 2.4gz or 5 gz.

We recommend placing your machine as close to a WiFi router or near a signal
booster or extender.

If you’re having trouble connecting to WiFi, try our troubleshooting steps here.

Inconsistent Metrics/Rowing Data

If you’re experiencing any of the following issues when you use your rower:

• You’re taking strokes but not see any meters, split time, or stroke rate
register

• You’re rowing with max effort but your speed isn’t moving as fast as you’d
expect

Then there may be an issue with the sensor connection. Try our troubleshooting
steps here or reach out to our support team.

Dream Machine

I enjoy this rowing machine so much. I love the open row the most. Love looking
at the different locations around the world while I am rowing. Very cool! The
classes are helpful and fun. I’m a big fan of this rower and the Ergatta
training videos and classes. The subscription is worth every penny!

Great workouts

I've owned my Ergatta Lite for two months now and I'm really enjoying the
variety of programs. I like the meteor, scenic and live races. It can be as
relaxing or as intense as you want. As for the build, I was concerned about
screen rattling based on other reviews but its not an issue, maybe a slight
rattle during high intensity sessions but it never bothers me. Setting up and
down is also a breeze.
