At the European Summer School on Internet Governance (EuroSSIG) in Germany,
Michael Hausding gave insights into global collaboration against cybercrime. His
presentations showed how regulatory authorities and incident response teams

ROESTI event - Hack your university!

Kuppelraum University of Bern, Hochschulstrasse 4, 3012 Bern
Exploitable Security Threats and Issues event (ROESTI). With your team, you will
search for vulnerabilities in the IP address ranges and domain names of Swiss
educational institutions. During this one-day, in-person event, participants
will work together and connect with other students and representatives from
participating universities. Food and drink will be provided. At the end of the
day, a jury will award prizes to teams in different categories. You might even
leave with a prize yourself! Contribute to improving the cyber resilience of
these institutions and be part of the very first ROESTI event. See you in Bern!

Swiss Security Awareness Day 2024

The human factor of security is getting more and more important. In times of a
constant increase of complexity in our digitalised world, the user becomes the
target of cybercriminals. Technical measures are not enough to keep our systems
secure, the user needs to become part of the security process. Security
Awareness is supposed to help, but the challenges are great and many – missing
communication expertise, support and resources are just a few. The Swiss
Security Awareness Day aims at giving some insights into the different possible
ways to deal with Security Awareness while pointing out where to get support and
what is most crucial for being successful.

organisation and how to tackle it. With the help of numerous case studies and
the guidance of the lecturers, you will learn how to plan, initiate and run a
security awareness programme to change behaviour in the long term. You will
practice how to communicate the importance of managing human risk effectively to
relevant stakeholders and how to form alliances to get support across your
organisation. Earn CPE 3.75 credits per day.
