Founded in 1968 by three real estate and forestry visionaries, Landvest provides

Christie’s Auction House is founded in London and emerges as a world-leading art
and luxury business.


1766

LandVest is founded with a mission to provide curated real estate services to
the complex property portfolios of New England families.


1968

LandVest brokers the largest ever property acquisition on Martha’s Vineyard with
the sale of 440 acres for one of America’s first families.


1978

LandVest announces the Timberland management and sales divisions. Launches the
first forestland investment in the US by a British Pension Fund.


1979

The Real Estate Consulting Group is launched to assist landowners in valuation,
appraisal, and tax planning on significant land portfolios across the US.


1985-1989

LandVest becomes a founding member of Christie’s International Real Estate, a
partnership between Christie’s and the world’s top luxury brokers.


1995

LandVest begins its unparalleled performance in residential brokerage throughout
the Northeast with record sales in Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts’

Christie’s auction house achieves a world-record price for the sale of Leonardo

2017
