ELEPHANTS | RHINOS | PEOPLE

EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES IN RURAL AFRICA IS ESSENTIAL TO THE PRESERVATION OF
ELEPHANTS AND RHINOS

AFRICA IS TRAGICALLY LOSING AROUND FOUR ELEPHANTS PER HOUR, AND FIVE RHINOS PER
DAY

> “We are called Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP), because we protect elephants
> and rhinos in the wild, but we adopt a somewhat unconventional approach to

> Jonathan Tager, CEO, groupelephant.com

Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP) protects Southern Africa’s wild elephants and
rhinos by helping to alleviate poverty in rural communities adjacent to
threatened elephant and rhino populations. We also implement tactical
interventions to combat the poaching problem, such as sustainable alternatives
as a source of community income, elephant relocations and drought relief
programs.

ERP brings over 30 years of experience in community relations, poverty
alleviation, and impact investment in infrastructure, to achieve sustainable,
non-lethal wildlife conservation. ERP's parent company, groupelephant.com,
donates 1% of its own revenue to cover all of ERP's operational expenses, and to
fund projects.
