De spellenwinkel in Groningen, die méér is dan een gewone winkel. De spellen die
je in onze winkel koopt, kun je natuurlijk meenemen naar huis. Maar je kunt ook
spelen in onze riante (en sfeervolle) speelruimte. Hier kunnen meer dan veertig
mensen tegelijk spelen. Ons assortiment is gevarieerd, en veel spellen worden
ook bij ons gespeeld. Neem je vrienden mee, of maak hier nieuwe!

Een spel dompelt je voor even onder in een andere wereld. Dat kan natuurlijk
thuis… maar je bent óók welkom in onze speelruimte, met onze klanten, onze
spelers en onze medewerkers. De Purperen Draak, dat zijn we samen.

We are the Purperen Draak: the game store in Groningen, but way more than just a
normal store. You can, of course, take the games you buy in our store to your
home. But you can also play in our spacious (and atmospheric) play area. In the
play ares, more than forty people can play at the same time. Our range is
varied, and many games are also played with us. Bring your friends or make new
ones here!

For a moment, a game immerses you in a different world. This is, of course,
possible at home… but you’re also welcome in our play area, with our customers,
our players and our employees. Together, we are the Purperen Draak!




ASSORTIMENT



Trading Card Games
We hebben een groot assortiment van de nieuwste sets voor de bekende trading
card games, zoals Magic the Gathering en Yu-Gi-Oh! Daarnaast hebben we heel veel
artikelen die niet alleen handig zijn, maar ook blij maken, zoals sleeves,
deckboxen, playmats en mappen. Onze communities maken het plaatje compleet – en
nieuwe vrienden zijn altijd welkom.

Board Games
Partygames. Strategische bordspellen. Tussendoor-spellen. Spellen voor een grote
groep of voor twee personen. Tegen elkaar of met elkaar. Avondvullend of zelfs
nog langer…
We hebben heel veel kaart- en bordspellen, zowel Nederlandstalig als
Engelstalig. Wat we niet hebben, kunnen we waarschijnlijk voor je regelen.

Miniature Wargames
Of je nu wilt schilderen, spelen, of een combinatie van die twee, we hebben de
juiste producten voor je. Niet alleen grote merken zoals Games Workshop en
Battlefront Miniatures, maar ook minder bekende, zoals Warcradle. Daarnaast
hebben we de tools en paints van bijvoorbeeld Vallejo. Van de meeste miniature
wargames hebben we (uiteraard) een enthousiaste spelersgroep die je graag
bijpraat op het gebied van hun game.

Comics & Manga
Van de universa en helden die geen verdere introductie behoeven, zoals Star
Wars, Batman en Spiderman, hebben wij een beschaafd assortiment TPB’s (bundels).
Daarnaast ook veel van minder bekende namen, zoals Nailbiter en The Wicked + The
Divine. En uiteraard hebben we de meeste bekende Manga. Als we de titel die je
zoekt niet op voorraad hebben, kunnen we hem vaak voor je bestellen in de
Verenigde Staten. Wel zo gemakkelijk: je kunt je via de winkel abonneren op je
favoriet.



Roleplay Games & LARP
De Purperen Draak host één van de grootste roleplay communities van Nederland,
die zelfs tot in de VS bekend is. Dat zie je ook terug in ons assortiment, met
vooral veel Dungeons & Dragons. Daarnaast hebben we een groot aantal dice, van
heel simpel tot extreem mooi.
Hou je van LARP? We hebben een uitgebreide collectie LARP-artikelen. Daarnaast
werken we samen met Attila LRP. En kids van 6-13 jaar kunnen zich aansluiten bij
onze eigen Drakenorde Heldenacademie. Wil je meer informatie over deze
verenigingen, of met ze kennismaken, laat het ons weten.



Loot & Shinies
Soms wil je gewoon wat moois hebben – voor jezelf of voor een ander. Dat kan een
Funko POP zijn, een HP toverstaf, of een Gundam bouwpakket. Maar we hebben nog
veel meer fijne producten. Nog zo, zo veel meer…
