I'M A SEATTLE BASED SENIOR APPLICATION SECURITY ENGINEER FOR MAPBOX. LED ARTIST, TECH GEEK, GAMER, FOODIE, BOURBON ENTHUSIAST. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * * * * * * * * * * ABOUT ME Hey there! Welcome to my slice of the internet. If there are three things you should know about me right off the bat, it's that I love good food, mesmerizing art, and the boundless possibilities of technology. Now, I'm not just talking about ordering takeout on a Friday night (although, who could resist?). I'm that guy who's mixing and experimenting in the kitchen, and trust me, my culinary journey has more plot twists than a telenovela. Catch some of those flavor-packed moments over on my Instagram. My GitHub might look like a ghost town, but don't be fooled. Most of my coding action happens behind the scenes, like a superhero in incognito mode. I've recently started dipping my toes into the Open Source waters, so stay tuned for that saga. Speaking of sagas, I co-founded TotiLight, where we're painting the world in light. Think jaw-dropping, light-based art installations that make you question reality. It's a grind, but the kind of grind that you wake up excited about. I spent a significant chunk of my life in Louisville, KY, before the tech gods called me to Seattle to join Amazon Web Services. I can't help but feel like I'm in an episode of "Frasier," minus the psychiatric advice. Before all that, Birmingham, AL, was my stomping ground. On the home front, I'm married to my incredible wife, Sonya. We live just outside of Seattle with a family of two cats and five fish-tanks, a combined 60 gallons of over 50 fish and invertebrates. When it comes to learning, let's just say if curiosity killed the cat, I'd have nine lives. I live to learn and love to share. The pandemic gave me the nudge to deep-dive into ReactJS and K8s, and I've been in a tech rabbit hole ever since. My website is my sandbox, always evolving because, well, I can't help myself. So that's me in a nutshell. Got questions, need advice, or just want to chat? Hit me up. I'm pretty much an open book, ready to write the next chapter. Let's connect!
