I offer presentations on A Year in Nature in the Kawarthas, Climate Change in
the Kawarthas, and Connecting Children to Nature. I am also available to lead a
guided walk at local nature destinations or even on your own property

BOOKS

My two “Nature’s Year” books detail key happenings in the natural world over the
course of the four seasons. With co-author Jacob Rodenburg, I have also written
“The Big Book of Nature Activities” - a seasonal guide to games, nature skills,
and core concepts to take learning outside

MONTHLY ALMANACS

Learn what's happening in nature in the Kawarthas each month of the year. From
April's frog chorus to October's colours, these events represent the mileposts
of our changing seasons.
