 * 05th Jul 2024 - 3.1.2 is a generic bugfix release in the stable 3.1 series.
 * 26th Apr 2024 - 3.1.1 is a generic bugfix release in the stable 3.1 series.
 * 01st Mar 2024 - Freeciv 3.1.0 has been released. NEWS-3.1.0 describes what's
   changed since 3.0.x.
   (The previous stable release, 3.0.10, is still available from the Old
   downloads page.)
 * 23rd Feb 2024 - The first release candidate for Freeciv 3.1.0 has been
   released.
 * 09th Feb 2024 - 3.0.10 is a generic bugfix release in the stable 3.0 series.
 * 30th Dec 2023 - 3.1.0-beta4 is the fourth and final beta release of the
   freeciv-3.1 series.
 * 17th Nov 2023 - 2.6.11 fixes serious regression in 2.6.10 for those still
   playing with 2.6 series.
 * 10th Nov 2023 - 3.0.9 is a generic bugfix release in the stable 3.0 series.
 * 20th Oct 2023 - 2.6.10 is a generic bugfix release for those still playing
