TACO BELL ANNOUNCES RETURN DATE OF BEEFY CRUNCH BURRITO AND WINNING PACKET

As the result of fan voting, the Beefy Crunch Burrito will return to the menu at
Taco Bell on Aug. 3, 2023. Rewards members can get it on Aug. 1 via the app.

The Beefy Crunch Burrito is ready to be back on the menu at Taco Bell.
In March, fans could vote on what would return - the Beefy Crunch Burrito or the
Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos.
The Beefy Crunch Burrito - featuring Frits Flamin’ Hot Flavored Corn Chips -
will be back on Aug. 3.
But, Taco Bell rewards members can get early access on the app on Aug. 1.
Taco Bell says the burrito win can be attributed to the “passionate fandom” of
the Beefy Crunch Movement on Facebook. The group has more than 66,000 followers
and has been active for almost 10 years.
“We banded together earlier this year, got the votes in and we are beyond pumped
to finally get a taste of what we believe is the best item to ever hit Taco Bell
menus. We are counting down the days until August 1 when it’s available early
access and looking forward to savoring every last bite while it’s still
available,” said Richard Axton, founder of the Beefy Crunch Movement.
The Beefy Crunch Burrito, in addition to Fritos, includes beef, reduced-fat sour
cream, seasoned rice and nacho cheese sauce. It will be available for a limited
time for $2.49 and in a combo for $6.49.
Taco Bell also asked its fans recently to help redesign its sauce packets. Fans
could choose between one of three sayings for each sauce packet. The new packets
will land in 2024. The winners are:
* Breakfast: “MORNING PERSON.”
* Mild: “ALL LOVE HERE.”
* Hot: “WHY NOT”
* Fire: “DON’T THINK, JUST DO.”
* Diablo: “IF YOU WON’T, I WILL.”
Taco Bell will redesign its five sauce packets. Rewards members were asked to be
a part of history by voting on three sayings for each sauce - Mild, Hot, Fire,
Diablo and Breakfast - from July 18 to July 23, 2023, on the Taco Bell app. The
winning sayings will appear on the redesigned packets that will launch in 2024.
