“Project X Zone is often funny and consistently frantic – two traits not
necessarily associated with tactical RPGs,” was their verdict. IGN agreed that
the story is a bit pump and gave it the same score. The Official Nintendo
Magazine gave this strategic 2D RPG 80%, noting that while it’s a little easy
and the plot for bringing characters from various franchises together is
“flimsy at best” it’s still a highly entertaining experience – “a series
of violent, interactive laser-light shows,” as they put it. Reviews have been
pretty good, so don’t let that price-tag put you off. Project X Zone could be
seen as a budget-priced title too, we suppose – Amazon, amongst others, are
offering it for just over £20. Those two retail releases are Project X Zone on
3DS and the budget-priced stealth adventure DARK on Xbox 360 and PC.

There may only be two retail releases arriving this week, but there’s more
than triple that out on the download services. We think it’s far to say that
due to digital distribution we won’t ever face another notorious ‘summer
game drought’.

It feels like such a long time between the first chapter’s battle section and
the second’s, and at this point, you’re not really invested in the story or
characters enough to have the patience for it to exposition-dump on you for so
long. The story sections here felt particularly drawn out, and don’t get me
wrong, there’s a lot of dialogue throughout the other chapters too, but here
specifically I feel like it’d be so easy for someone to be put off. The only
problem I had with this was in the first couple of chapters - the game pulls no
punches at all when it comes to slam dunking you with the details of fictional
politics, a plethora of locations, and a cast of characters big enough to rival
Game of Thrones, and it frankly teeters on being overwhelming.

For the most part, these different sections are all divided up really well, and
the variation in what you’re doing personally really helped keep me hooked, and
not burnt out on any specific part of the gameplay.

So, create a new file called hotkeys.ahk anywhere you want on your computer.

You just create your script and then run the AHK file. One nice thing to note is
unlike most “modern” applications running the AHK script that we’re going to
create in this article only uses 2.5mb of RAM and doesn’t use any idle CPU
resources at all.ĪHK is driven by a scripting language and doesn’t require doing
anything too crazy to get it up and running. I recommend grabbing the latest
stable release which is v1.1.x at the time of writing this article.

The tool we’re going to use is called Auto Hotkey (AHK) which is an open source
tool for Windows that lets you automate all sorts of things, but remapping keys
and setting global hotkeys is something it does very well. That means if you
