Hi Jennifer,

We are thrilled to announce the 150 awardees of the inaugural America’s Field
Trip contest! This nationwide competition invited elementary, middle, and high
school students in grades 3-12 to share their vision of America through artwork,
videos, and essays. We received thousands of impressive submissions, and are
excited to celebrate the creativity and passion of our young participants.

This summer, 75 first-place awardees from across the nation will have the
opportunity to go on special field trips exploring some of America's iconic
landmarks, historical sites, and cultural treasures. From the Statue of Liberty
and the National Archives to the dramatic canyons and rivers of Yellowstone
National Park, these bright young minds will immerse themselves in our nation's
rich history and heritage with behind-the-scenes tours and experiences. Another
75 second-place awardees will receive a cash award.

See below for a selection of the winning entries!

Elementary School (Grades 3-5): Anna W., Grade 4, Clarksville, Maryland

Middle School (Grades 6-8): Charli M., Grade 6, Lebanon, Tennessee

We are immensely proud of all the students who participated in the first-ever
America’s Field Trip competition. The submissions reflected diverse perspectives
and an inspiring array of visions for our nation’s future.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this pilot contest a success, including
our America’s Field Trip Founding Sponsor, BNY. If you know a student or a
teacher who may be interested in participating in the next round of the
America’s Field Trip contest, please share this link.

Together, we can inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and learners
to build deeper connections with America’s history and culture.

Best,
