If you're traveling within the downtown core, take advantage of 16.5 kilometers
of climate-controlled pedestrian walkways that connect to the city's business,
dining, and shopping districts. Our location adjacent to the CORE Shopping
Centre puts you steps away from additional shopping and dining options.

Airport Transportation
The Westin Calgary Hotel is located 18.7 km from Calgary International Airport
and offers self-parking and valet parking for guests staying at our downtown
Calgary hotel. Taking a taxi instead? Expect to pay $30-40 for your one-way
ride.

The Westin Calgary Hotel offers self-parking and valet parking for guests
staying at our downtown Calgary hotel.
SELF PARKING:
When you arrive at the hotel, let the doormen know you are self-parking your
vehicle. They will provide you with directions to one of our two parking lots
based on availablility.
Self-parking is available on levels C and D of the Westin Parkade, which is
accessed from 3rd Avenue. The Westin Parkade has a height restriction of 6 feet
and parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional
self-parking is located 3 blocks from the hotel at 2nd St and 2nd Ave SW.
• Off-site parking, fee: 10 CAD hourly, 39 CAD daily
• On-site parking, fee: 14 CAD hourly, 28 CAD daily
• Valet parking, fee: 38 CAD daily
OVERSIZED VEHICLE PARKING:
We have an overflow lot available to accommodate large vehicles. The height
restriction for the hotel self-parking lot is 6 feet. Upon arrival at the hotel,
all oversized vehicles will be directed to our surface lot located at 2nd St and
2nd Ave SW.
The Westin Parkade has a limited number of valet spots for oversized vehicles,
available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once those spots are filled,
vehicles will be valet parked at our surface lot located at 2nd St and 2nd Ave
SW.
Oversized vehicle parking rates are the same as our self-parking and valet
parking rates.

La Tablée des Chefs
The Westin Calgary has partnered with a program called La Tablée des Chefs,
making it the first hotel in Alberta to provide surplus food to local shelters
in the Calgary community. The Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre where the surplus
food from the hotel will be redistributed is one of the largest shelters in
Canada, feeding over 3,000 meals a day. As a part of the program our culinary
team will redistribute excess food from meetings, conventions and restaurant
service. The surplus food is frozen throughout the week and every Friday
delivered to the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre to freeze and re-heat as needed.
On average The Westin Calgary provides 400 portions of surplus food per week
which can be used by shelters. Over the past two and a half years over 22,000
portions were procided by The Westin Calgary in the La Tablée des Chefs program.

Calgary Children's Foundation
The Westin Calgary hosts the Annual QR77/Westin Hotel Calgary Children’s
Foundation Pledge Day in the lobby. The Calgary Children’s Foundation is an
organization that supports a variety of local children’s charities with children
who are physically, mentally and/or financially disadvantaged. They donate to
mostly small, grass-roots groups who have limited dollars for fundraisers,
communications, etc. They put the money directly into the hands of the people
who are working to improve the lives of Calgary’s children. On November 15, 2012
Westin Calgary Children’s Foundation was presented with the Outstanding
Philanthropic Group Generosity of Spirit Award.

Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer
Each year The Westin Calgary associates participate in the The Enbridge Ride to
Conquer Cancer benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation in a unique, two-day
cycling event. The money raised for the Alberta Cancer Foundation through The
Ride will directly support patients and families at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre
in Calgary, the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton and 15 cancer centres
throughout Alberta. The Alberta Cancer Foundation provides funding to a team of
top doctors and scientists whose search for new discoveries and improved patient
outcomes will have a real impact in your community, across Canada, and around
the world.

CIBC Run for the Cure
The Westin Calgary actively supports and participates in raising money every
year for The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Canada’s leading
community-driven breast cancer charity. The Westin Calgary cash donation aids
the Foundation in their mission of creating a future without breast cancer.
Donated dollars are allocated to grants for breast cancer research, health
promotion and awareness programs. The 5K or 1K walk/run in October, kicks off
which is breast cancer awareness month.

Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids
Every two months, Westin Calgary associates actively volunteer with Brown
Bagging to combat increasing numbers of students attending Calgary schools
without a lunch. Together, in partnerships with the Calgary Board of Eduction
and the Calgary Seperate School District, we delivered 1,500+ lunches each day
to over 60 schools in 2011.

Canadian Blood Services - Partners for Life
The Westin Calgary blood donors are dedicated Partners For Life. In 2012, 63
units of blood has helped Canadian hospital patients in need. One heart surgery
patient can need 5 units of blood and in 2012 The Westin Calgary contribution
could have helped save 12 patients undergoing heart surgery.

EXCELLENT STAY
Would never stay anywhere else when in Calgary. This hotel is a little
piece of heaven for the weary traveller. Excellent room's, super comfy
beds, best of all are the staff. Always so friendly, accomodating and
cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. Restaurants are good and hotel
is in a really good location. Look forward to our next trip...

COMFORT, VERY FAR FROM HOME
I was in Calgary for business, very far from home, and felt relaxed the
whole time I was there. Both the Keg and Starbucks offer friendly service
and excellent food. The Westin staff are super friendly and very welcoming.
I'll definitely stay here again!

DATED HOTEL WITH LIMITED FOOD SELECTION
The hotel has dates furniture and limited food options. No breakfast buffet
and room service is basically a steak restaurant !

GREAT HOTEL, CENTRAL LOCATION, HEATED PARKING
This is a great hotel in downtown Calgary. Heated parking is a bonus,
unless you have a truck ( You will need to pay for Valet if you want your
vehicle parked inside). Keg steakhouse and starbucks are onsite making the
Hotel a complete package!

A serviceable hotel in Downtown Calgary with friendly and helpful staff.

STAYCATION WEEKEND
We stayed at the Westin to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our check-in
experience was very pleasant. The front desk agent included our breakfast
at Essence as a birthday upgrade. The keg had a great atmosphere. The staff
were very pleasant and made the celebration experience memorable. The room
was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Seamless from check in to check
out. Excellent hospitality experience.

ALWAYS AND EXCELLENT STAY
I stay at the Calgary Downtown Westin quite a bit for work travel. They
always treat us very well. This trip was for leisure - a snowboard trip for
the New Year. They were fantastic and very helpful. Love the Westin!
