FULLY-ON-CHAIN?

Orbiters are the first NFT collection on Sei blockchain where all images and
metadata are generated using code and stored entirely on-chain. This is made
possible through the innovative use of SVGs (Scalable Vector Graphics). SVGs
offer a human-readable, text-based approach for defining precise positions,
colors, and shapes. Consequently, the Orbiter visuals, rendered from these SVGs,
automatically adjust to fit any device screen perfectly, maintaining
high-quality graphics at any scale.

What is an NFT?

An NFT, or Non-Fungible Token, is a unique digital asset that represents
ownership or proof of authenticity of a specific item or piece of content, using
blockchain technology. Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, each
NFT is distinct and cannot be exchanged on a one-to-one basis, which is what
makes them non-fungible. NFTs can represent a wide array of digital files such
as art, music, videos, and other forms of creative work. The blockchain ensures
the rarity and ownership of each NFT, making them collectible and often valuable
digital assets.

What platform did On-Chain Orbiters launch from?

We wrote our own smart-contracts, built our own minting platform, and launched
via our own website.

How do I get one?

1101 Orbiters were minted by the Sei community on 22/02/2024. The mint was
completely free. You can buy an On-Chain Orbiter on the Secondary Market

Who are the founders?

Orbiters was established by Diddy and Mr. Meat, two lifelong friends and
seasoned full-stack developers from Ireland. Diddy serves as the CEO of a SaaS
company based in Ireland, while Mr. Meat works as a CyberSecurity Engineer for a
leading global technology firm. Together they have been developers for over 25
years.
