   Since 2006, the EU High Representative has led diplomatic efforts between the
   E3/EU+3 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United
   States) and Iran, which led to the conclusion of the Joint Comprehensive Plan
   of Action on Iran’s nuclear program (JCPOA) in Vienna on 14 July 2015. The
   JCPOA is designed to ensure that Iran’s nuclear programme will be exclusively
   peaceful and provides for the comprehensive lifting of UN, EU and US
   nuclear-related sanctions.

The Council today approved conclusions reaffirming EU’s principled commitment to
peace and stability in Afghanistan and to supporting the people of Afghanistan.

MACEDONIA AND FACILITATED THE BELGRADE-PRISTINA DIALOGUE

High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell travelled to Albania and North
Macedonia on 15-18 March. He participated at the first ever EU-Albania and
EU-North Macedonia Stabilisation and Association Councils that took place in the
region. In Ohrid, North Macedonia the HR/VP facilitated the Belgrade-Pristina
dialogue, where the parties agreed on details for the implementation of the
