WELCOME TO THE JOLLY JUDGE



The Jolly Judge sits at the foot of an Edinburgh ‘close’, at the centre of one
of the capital’s historic Old Town, a mere 2 minutes’ walk from the Castle.

An independently-owned bar with low beamed ceilings, log fire and a tranquil
atmosphere – this is Scottish hospitality. Sample the wide range of malt
whiskies, real ales and tempting bar lunches.

We’ve always tried to keep a wide variety of beers on tap, along with a fairly
extensive list of single malt and blended whiskies, wines and spirits to choose
from.

We rotate our craft beer and cider selection all the time so our menu shows just
some of the range on offer.

Given the current situation, we’ve temporarily stopped preparing our tasty
