It's keeps crashing... Especially when I try to log in with biometrics. I've
received your email and it took me to this section. Problem is not solved I'll
be calling on Monday to find out why things are not working like the original
app. My deposits are slower and I can't use my card at certain merchants cause
there readers say my varo card is not valid. The chip works intermittently with
certain merchants, some read it others don't.

I’ve been with Varo for about a year now, maybe longer. The old app stopped
working for me to login so I contacted support over a month ago. They told me to
use the new app which gives an error upon login that the data cannot be read
because it’s in the wrong format. I told that to support. They responded that I
should use the old app. Meanwhile I’ve been waiting 6 weeks to use MY bank
account with zero help.

I used to pay the rent with ‘Mail a Check’ feature from old Varo app. This
feature is gone in new Varo app which makes me to use Chime for the future rent
payments. This is the only reason I gave 4 starts. Other that that I m very
satisfied with Varo bank.

I’ve had this app for two days now, and it’s just a little off atm. One thing
that’s bothers me is how late the notifications show up. For example, I buy food
but I’m not immediately notified (I’m notified like a half hour later). I don’t
know the whole story of why there needs to be a new app, but why couldn’t they
just update the old one and everyone keeps their current cards and they don’t
have to change all their card information on direct deposit, etc. I hope this
ends up being an improvement from the old app and they keep tweaking their bugs
like the notifications, because it’s definitely going to take some getting use
to.

I made a large (over $1500) instant transfer from cashapp to my Varo bank
account and there was no trace of it. Spent an entire week trying to track it
down. Was told on two separate occasions that managers would look into it and
call me back. No call back either time. I was finally compensated for their
incompetency when I refused to get off the phone until it was resolved...8 days
later.

I love using Varo, i haave my payroll DD onti my varo card and it always come
sooner then my original payday. The features of varo banking are great. I love
the save your change feature and the option to put so much of my deposit

I have used Varo since summer of this year. I recently just migrated my account
to Varo Bank. Super smooth! I’ll be honest, they aren’t perfect. But what bank

Make it easier and free for people to deposit cash into their account. Right now
the only way is to go to a third-party person and pay a fee to put money into
your account. This is 2021 and you should be able to go to any ATM and deposit
cash into your account for free. Also stop charging fees to use ATMs when a
Chime ATM is not nearby.

find out why so sick of this. I had chime before maybe that could be why but

Personally when you get scammed and you need money this app is alright but when
you need to repay, it is automatically taken out and you’re not able to schedule
it yourself. Many other apps like Dave allow you to schedule your repayment so
you know you’ll have the money you need to make a payment but that’s not the
case with Dave. Many of times they just pull out small amounts on top of each
other which in my mind is scamming me of my money. Little fees lead to bigger
bills and if they keep taking small payment after another out then my bank will
think I’m being scammed. I’ve had my account frozen because Dave numerous times
and I just don’t see myself ever using and or associating with this app ever
again.

Thank you chime! I did win a sweepstakes with chime hundreds of dollars I was
shocked and greatful because not all banks give out money, only take most times
lol but I love the boost we can send our friends/family, they don’t let us
overdraft crazyy amounts, I love the card replacement for free! And the metal
credit card I get so many compliments on it!

This app is awful. You cannot connect your bank account to move money
(depositing or withdrawing), and therefore can only take out money at free ATMs
in whatever set amounts they allow. They also promise early direct depositing
and will not deliver. I’ve been going through circles with support people trying
to connect my bank to withdrawal my money only to be told my bank is not
supported, even though it is listed and a major bank (Wells Fargo).

This Card is supposed to help your credit score, by only allowing you to SPEND
what YOU transfer over. I checked my credit Karma, and for some reason CHIME
isn’t paying my “debt” on time and decreased by credit score by 37 points. I’m

The card looks cool and you can connect it directly to your bank account or any
other account as well as get direct deposit, only downfall is when you first
start using it , it takes close to a week to transfer money over but the more
you use it the faster it transfers

I’m trying to make a new account that I can actually use to build my credit with
because I got stable income, it keeps denying me a new account or access to ways
to make one because I’ve already used my social for another account I no longer
have access to because it was on an old phone that was destroyed, I tried
calling customer service but they said the same thing this app does when I
attempt to make a new one, I highly DO NOT recommend chime unless you are
planning to keep the email and number you used for it forever. They don’t give
you options to contact anyone about it, they just cut you off. I’m highly upset
about this because I expected so much more from chime than this.

I have had chime now going on 4yrs and their credit builder metal card for going
on 2yrs, I absolutely love this bank!!!! Never had any issues or problems. I
recommend this bank to just about everyone I meet!!! And to think I found Chime
as an advertisement on FACEBOOK…..lol Keep doing what your doing Chime!!!

Everything seems great so far with their different features. But i’ve waited a
month and had multiple phone calls with customer service trying to get a debit
card and they still haven’t found a way to get one sent to my house apparently

Just about everything is great with Current. From the early direct deposits to
the free $25 overdraft no charge! However I do wish I could raise that $25 limit
somehow hahaha!

Customer service is really bad. I emailed Dave and Dave did not respond to me
until weeks later. When you have an issue instead of answering your email they
ignore you. Wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone.

Love chime! I haven't had a real bank account in years, because when I was
younger I really messed up a lot with my credit and made poor choices
financially. Now, almost 10-15 years later I've decided in order to track my
finances + several other reasons I need a real bank... A bank account which
cannot over draft, has a good savings account, I can monitor very easily, and
makes me feel in control of my money. I found that ALL OF THAT, in Chime. I
absolutely 10/10 recommend + LOVE Chime!

I tried closing my account months ago, there’s no customer service team, you
only talk to robots and they make closing your account ten times harder than
opening one. This app is set up to keep charging people forever and hope they

It's a great app but the customer service needs to up ther game and it took me 2
hours on the phone with chime trying to reset my password and they told me to
delete my Google history uninstall the app in I did in it didn't work 😑 but
anyways it's still a good app

I got a random charge nowhere on my aspiration dashboard mentioned but went
through my checking account. I dont like hidden fees. I haven't even signed up
for anything yet. I sent support an email to refund me and unlink anything

I would give a 5 on the whole thing due to the positive impact on the
environment alone, however Ive been getting charges that I do not understand
without any clear warning that Id be charged constantly. I still have no idea
why Ive been charged a $10 "Pay what is fair" fee when Ive just started using my
acct. Now Im being charged for planting trees and I dont have money for all
these fees and they were never disclosed upon sign up. Thats why I give 2 stars
and a warning, Im about to cancel

So the bank does concentrate on “doing good” which was the initial draw. But
originally it came with high interest rates for savings and free ATM withdrawals
where you would get credited for charges from other banks/atms . Now all that is
gone. Woeful interest rates, no free ATMs... always asking for money to have a
“good impact”. Truthfully, you can find other online banks with better rewards &
interest rates.
