I'M FILIPPO, AN ENTREPRENEUR & ENGINEER FROM ITALY LIVING IN COSTA RICA.

i'm Filippo Fonseca, an 18-year-old entrepreneur, software & electrical eng,
designer, & reading/language enthusiast with a focus on building scalable
applications and infrastructure for a variety of needs. Essentially, I built
sh*t that works :).


🧪 MY WORK

these days, I'm involved in a myriad of different things - I'm having a blast
building diush.xyz - an open-source mobile platform acting as a secure funnel
for selling items to your friends and network. I was previously heavily invested
in Zyndicate, a simplified all-in-one workflow system which I built and scaled
to tens of thousands of users (30k+) and a team of 15+ spread out over five
continents.

I've also worked at companies like Aviato and co-built an autonomous drone
delivery service that won 2nd place worldwide in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO)
2021 out of nearly 50k participants.

I primarily work with TypeScript & React for mobile and web development. In the
past, I have also delved into system architecture, infrastructure, and privacy
engineering 🔒.

COSTA RICAN STUDENTS WIN SECOND PLACE IN THE WORLD ROBOTICS OLYMPIAD

The 16-year-olds designed 'Updrop', a more efficient system for home deliveries
of food or parcels. This is the first time that Costa Rica has achieved a
distinction of this type in the World Robotics Olympiad.


COSTA RICA SURPASSES WORLD POWERS WITH SECOND PLACE IN ROBOTICS OLYMPIAD

Two Costa Rican college students stand out in the category where 53 other teams
competed; they did it with a drone-based parcel delivery system

For the first time our country reaches a second place in the World Robot
Olympiad (World Robot Olympiad WRO, for its acronym in English); this thanks to
the participation of Mark Music and Filippo Fonseca, both tenth-year students,
who presented the project called UpDrop.
