THE HOME OF RETRO GAMING

In the heart of Leicestershire lies a building brimming with gaming history!

Featuring classic systems such as the Sinclair Spectrum, Commodore 64, Commodore
Amiga and Atari 2600. Gaming giants including Nintendo NES, Sega MegaDrive, Xbox
and PlayStation. Plus the truly unique Virtuality VR systems and the one of a
kind CD1200!

However we haven't got to the best bit! Everything is out to not only touch, but
to play on! Using original hardware and with a colossal software library. It
truly is a gamers paradise!

 *   Volunteers were all very friendly and everything including the snacks was
   reasonably priced.
   
   They have an amazing amount of hardware and games to have a go... read more
   on, which was all well maintained.
   
   One of the gentleman running the museum the day we visited was even good
   enough to allow us to have a go on the surprisingly awesome early 90's arcade
   VR headsets, which is something I'd never think I'd get a chance to do!
   
   Well worth a visit for anyone with an interest in video games.

   knowledge and wisdom (which is vast!) It was our first visit trip and my son

   set up connected to TVs/monitors and are available to play with. We were
   greeted and given a little tour when we arrived,... read more which was much
   appreciated. My youngest son wasn't so sure when we first arrived (I want to
   play Minecraft!) but by the end of the visit he was delightedly playing
   Chuckie Egg on an Amstrad CPC 464. We will definitely be back - we only got
   as far as the house in Grannie's Garden on the BBC Micro and want to see what

   are lots of different gaming areas including arcade games, car race booths

     My 9 year old is a huge retro fan and loves the 80's style games consoles.
   This was the best day out for us! I highly recommend visiting the museum....
   read more It brings back so many gaming memories from that era and the best
   part is you get to try out the systems and play. The staff are incredibly

     This place is great. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. So many
   consoles and games to play. Teenager loved it too, spent 4 hours there and...

     Excellent Day and Evening Day Out  - I regularly go to each legendary
   gathering event. Whether you're going solo, a couple, friends or family;
   you'll have a great day out. On Legendary nights you'll also have extras...
   read more such as hot food. All the staff are very friendly and informative.
   It's fantastic to see all the old systems and play on all the games. I
   couldn't highly recommend this place enough over the many years I have
   visited here.
   
   Also to note, the Retro Computer Museum take bookings for various occasions
   whether it be for a birthday party , school trip or stag do etc. Just contact
