Clinic Finder is the best way to find and book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.

Information to help you select a vaccine

 * Boosters
 * Winter doses
 * For immunocompromised people
 * COVID-19 vaccines


BOOSTERS

Boosters are recommended three months after the final dose in your primary
course, for:

 * people aged 16 years and older
 * people aged 12 to 15 years who are severely immunocompromised - link opens in

 * people aged 12 to 15 years who have a disability with significant or complex
   health needs
 * people aged 12 to 15 who have complex and/or multiple health conditions that
   increase the risk of severe COVID-19.

You should wait 3 months after testing positive for COVID-19 to get a booster.

The preferred vaccines for boosters are:

 * Moderna (for ages 18+)
 * Pfizer (for ages 12+)

Novavax (for ages 18+) can be used for boosters. Please contact a healthcare
professional for advice.

AstraZeneca (for ages 18+) can be used with a referral.

IMMUNOCOMPROMISED PEOPLE

ATAGI recommends additional doses for people aged 5 years and older who are
severely immunocompromised.

The preferred vaccines for additional doses are:

 * Moderna (for ages 6+)
 * Pfizer (for ages 5+)

Novavax (for ages 18+) can be used for additional doses. Please contact a
healthcare professional for advice.

WINTER DOSES

Winter doses are recommended for:

 * people aged 65 years or older
 * Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 years or older
 * people aged 16 to 64 who are residents of aged care or disability care
   facilities
 * people aged 16 to 64 who have a disability with significant or complex health
   needs or multiple comorbidities that increase the risk of severe COVID-19
 * people aged 16 to 64 with a medical condition that increases the risk of
   severe COVID-19

Winter doses are recommended four months after a booster. You may need a
referral for winter doses.

You should wait 3 months after testing positive for COVID-19 to get a winter
