If our friend Emily Roberts ever insists that you attend an event at their house
-- and then doubles down to make sure you dress well for the said event -- know
that your life might be about to take off on a whole new trajectory. Such was
the case for us, first meeting over a staged brunch event hosted by our dear
friends Emily and Ashley. After many failed drafts at starting a follow-up
conversation that evening, Margaret fluttered a bit when Katie DM'd first.
Consider then our trajectory forever altered and aligned. There were a few weeks
of trying to take things slow -- drinks together with friends, a Taylor Swift
music video show at Motorco, and late-night conversations while getting to know
one another. We have become somewhat beautifully inseparable since.
