TYPES OF DOCTORS





There are many different types of doctors. A primary care physician can help you
navigate the health care system and work with specialists. However, not all
patients have a primary care physician. Here are some common types of doctors.
These specialists can each address different health concerns. In addition to
primary care physicians, there are other types of specialists, such as
specialists in family practice and geriatrics. Read on to learn more. But first,
let's define the types of doctors.






General practitioners are also known as internists. They are trained to treat
all types of ailments, including illnesses of the internal organs.
