Meet the team






Tete Xiao

Co-founder and CEO

Tete received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and a BS in
Intelligence Science from Peking University. His research focused on computer
vision, robotics, and machine learning, with multiple publications and patents
spanning these topics. He was affiliated with Facebook AI Research (FAIR),
working on the Segment Anything Model.

Trevor Darrell

Co-Founder and President

Prof. Trevor Darrell serves on the CS and EE faculties at UC Berkeley's EECS
Department. He founded and co-leads the BAIR lab, BDD Industrial Consortia, and
the BAIR Commons program, collaborating with companies like Facebook, Google,
and Amazon. Previously, he directed UC Berkeley's PATH research center, led the
Vision group at the International Computer Science Institute (2008-2014), and
was part of MIT's EECS faculty (1999-2008). He earned his Ph.D. and S.M. from
MIT and a B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Seth Park

Co-Founder and CTO

Seth received his bachelor's and PhD degrees from UC Berkeley in Computer
Science, where he was a member of the BAIR lab focusing on multimodal models for
vision and language understanding. He also worked on computer vision projects
for Microsoft Research and Pinterest, where he helped develop their visual
search tool.

Marissa Ramirez de Chanlatte

Co-Founder and COO

Marissa is a Ph.D. candidate at UC Berkeley with joint appointments in the
Berkeley AI Research Lab and the Applied Numerical Methods Group at Lawrence
Berkeley National Lab. She graduated with a B.A. in pure mathematics from UC
Berkeley and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering. She has held positions at Oak Ridge
National Lab, Adobe Research, and Hivemapper Inc. Most recently, she has been a
research fellow at Prime Movers Lab, a deep tech venture capital firm,
co-leading their deep dives into robotics and computer vision for climate tech.
