Football West has opened registrations for next month’s inaugural Football Five5
Junior Cup.
The five-a-side carnival, which will take place at the Sam Kerr Football Centre,
is over two days during the school holiday.
There will be Girls U14s, U15s and U16s competitions on Thursday 23 January.
The Boys competitions are on Friday 24 January for U12s, U13s and U14s.
What is the Football Five5 Junior Cup?
The Football Five5 Junior Cup is a five-a-side event open to junior players of
all skill levels.
It is ideal for those who just want to have fun with their friends, but also
great for players looking to sharpen up ahead of the 2025 outdoor season, with
high-intensity games helping players build fitness quickly.
The small-sided games also give players more time on the ball to refine their
skills, while the fast-paced action develops quick decision-making and tactical
awareness.
Tournament details
GIRLS
* WHEN: Thursday 23 January, 9am-5pm
* WHERE: Sam Kerr Football Centre, Queens Park
* WHO: U14s, U15s, U16s
BOYS
* WHEN: Friday 24 January, 9am-5pm
* WHERE: Sam Kerr Football Centre, Queens Park
* WHO: U12s, U13s, U14s
Teams consist of a maximum of 10 registered players, with no more than five on
the pitch at one time.
The cost to enter is $265 per team.
